What's New with CygMenu?
version. 1.1
Several enhancements have been made to CygMenu with version 1.1.
1) Allows the user's choice of colors. Cnv10-11.exe is included
to convert version 1.0 menu files to 1.1 format.
2) Encrypted passwords in the menu data files
3) Much improved menu editing process (You don't have to retype
options to change them. Just use cursor commands.)
4) Menu defaults to Non-Edit mode if a password is specified for
menu exit using the '/p:' command-line option. (You can
override this with the '/edit' command-line option.
5) CygMenu now reads the TEMP environment variable if it exists,
and stores temporary files there. This allows CygMenu to run
from a write-protected drive. (Special thanks to Peter van
Harten of The Netherlands for suggesting this one.)
As always, let me know if you find bugs in CygMenu, or if you have
good suggestions for the next release.

HELP FOR USERS OF CYGMENU 1.0
If you have used CygMenu 1.0 and have some menus set up, they need
to be converted to a slightly new file format. The program CNV10-
11.EXE will do all the work for you. To use the program, just type
CNV10-11 from the DOS prompt. It will ask for the name of the menu
to convert. Next, it asks for the new name. The program will
automatically copy the old file to one with the extension .V10
(instead of .CMN). You can, therefore, use the same file name
(excluding the extension) as your version 1.0 menu file has.
